This project combines modern design elements, motivational quotes, and goal‑setting features to create an engaging, professionally designed print journal.
Job Overview
JMC is looking for a Creative Journal Designer to conceptualize and design a printed journal that aligns with youth and young adult athletes’ needs.
You will be responsible for crafting a visually appealing and functional layout while ensuring a smooth publishing process.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the brand owner to develop structure, style & content layout
• Design 80–120 pages of templates for goal setting, habit tracking & reflections
• Source & integrate motivational quotes and basketball‑inspired elements
• Prepare files for both print & digital publishing
• Provide expert recommendations on page count, materials & printing options
Qualifications & Required Skills
• Strong typography & layout skills with clean, modern aesthetics
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, or similar tools
• Ability to meet deadlines & work collaboratively
Bonus Skills
• Passion for basketball, fitness, or personal development
• Experience in product launches & branded merchandise
