Our client is one of Asia’s leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms, currently expanding aggressively into South East Asia. They are seeking an experienced IFA / Wealth Manager to grow their business by acquiring new clients and delivering tailored financial solutions.
The Role
As a Wealth Manager, your primary goal will be business development: actively seeking new clients, understanding their needs, and providing suitable financial solutions. You will represent the firm at networking events, industry gatherings, and other opportunities to connect with high-net-worth prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and grow a client base through networking events, business associations, chambers of commerce, charity, sports, and other public or private events.
• Conduct full client assessments and suitability reports to provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Own the sales process from first contact to closing the deal.
• Manage and maintain accurate client data within company systems.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Manage and service your client accounts, ensuring exceptional client experience.
• Adhere to all company policies and regulatory obligations.
Requirements
• Minimum 2–3 years proven experience as a Financial Adviser or relevant offshore experience.
• Demonstrated track record of successful financial guidance and sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in database systems and Microsoft Office.
• Professional appearance and client-facing confidence.
• Recognised financial qualifications (CISI, CII, or equivalent).
