Responsibilities:
– Build our finance dashboard from scratch, unifying Shopify, Triple Whale, Lifetimely, and QuickBooks Online into one source of truth that the executive team actually uses.
– Own the first-time customer P&L: gross revenue → net → gross margin → contribution margin → acquisition contribution margin → aMER.
– Tell us our real unit economics by SKU, collection, and acquisition channel.
– Project cash flow against inventory buys, ensuring solvency as the Director of Procurement deploys capital into our China warehouse.
– Own QuickBooks Online, including reconciliations, COGS allocation, landed cost capitalization, and monthly close.
– Build the finance team beneath you within 6 months, including a staff accountant and an AP/AR clerk.
– Manage our U.S. CPA firm relationship for tax filing, audit preparation, and multistate sales tax compliance.
– Present weekly financial clarity to the executive team, using no jargon, just truth.
