About the Role
A fantastic opening for a Financial Advisor China to join a reputable firm in Shanghai, China. The successful candidate will advise a diverse portfolio of international clients, helping them achieve their financial goals through comprehensive planning and strategic investment management. Shanghai is an increasingly important centre in the global financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities
• Advise clients on wealth management strategies, investment portfolios, and retirement planning
• Cultivate a strong client base through relationship-focused advisory services
• Perform detailed financial assessments and needs analysis for each client
• Design personalised financial strategies that align with client goals and risk profiles
• Specialise in cross-border financial matters and international investment structures
• Support clients with UK pension consolidation, QROPS transfers, and tax-efficient planning
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory obligations and internal compliance policies
Qualifications & Requirements
• Relevant UK financial advisory certification (DipPFS, CISI Level 4, CFP or equivalent required)
• At least 2-3 years of direct client advisory experience in financial services
• Solid understanding of investment products, pension schemes, and wealth planning
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
• Previous experience with international or expatriate clientele is highly valued
