We are at an inflection point. Our 2030 strategy involves significant capital deployment, multi-jurisdictional consolidation, and a deliberate digital-first transformation of how the group operates including how the finance function works.

About the Role

We are seeking a Group Financial Director to serve as a strategic architect for our next phase of growth. This is not a “status quo” role; it is a mandate for a builder who treats finance as a strategic asset. Partnering directly with our founders and Board, you will oversee a substantial debt financing program and lead the group-wide integration of our new consolidation systems.

Digital transformation is a top priority, and we expect AI to be at the heart of that evolution. We are looking for a leader who will move AI beyond theory, someone empowered with a dedicated budget and autonomy to push automation into real-world workflows and elevate the entire team’s efficiency through technology.

What You Will Do
• Partner with the founders and Board on long-term strategy, capital allocation, and decisions related to joint ventures and acquisitions.
• Oversee over a substantial in debt financing for large-scale projects and manage relationships with banks and private credit institutions.
• Directly lead the integration of a new group-wide accountancy and consolidation system across all international entities.
• Supervise the build-out of reporting, software, and tools for budgeting, consolidation, and forecasting.
• Take full ownership of the end-to-end budgeting process across all locations and projects, including major construction budgets.
• Lead month-end close, management reporting, and the preparation of group consolidated accounts across all jurisdictions.
• Present highly detailed and scrutinized financial data to involve leadership and investors, justifying financial logic with clarity.
• Optimize group financing arrangements, treasury functions, and complex international bank account management.
• Implement consistent financial policies and internal financial controls to manage operational bottlenecks and approval delays.
• Mentor and manage a decentralized finance team, building structured processes where data or direction may be lacking.

What We Are Looking For
• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / FCCA) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience and a relevant Master’s degree.
• Over 5 years in a senior finance leadership role with strong managerial responsibility.
• Essential experience in financial consolidation across different jurisdictions and international tax planning.
• Proven track record in implementing new finance systems, software, and operational processes.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing robust financial control frameworks and internal policies to eliminate operational bottlenecks and streamline approval workflows
• A builder mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership rather than waiting for instructions.
• Exceptional communication skills and the diplomacy required to work closely with hands-on founders and detail-oriented investors.
• Strong analytical skills and a genuine drive to interrogation data through AI and modern digital tools.
• English language proficiency at C1 level; Russian language skills are welcomed for internal stakeholder communication.
• Willingness to work remotely within Europe with periodic travel for key board and banking meetings.
