Our client is an independent group of financial advisers established in 1995, headquartered in Mauritius, with a growing global presence. The firm provides comprehensive financial solutions designed to help clients protect their families, grow their wealth, and preserve it for future generations.

With continued expansion, they are seeking experienced financial advisers to be based in Mauritius (French language skills advantageous), India, or to operate remotely across Europe and other international locations.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to work with expatriate and international clients, delivering tailored financial planning and wealth management solutions across multiple jurisdictions.

It is particularly well suited to advisers who are authorised to operate in Europe under MiFID regulations or those looking to build an international client base across Africa, Europe, the Indian Ocean region, and India.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Relationship Management

• Advise expatriate and international clients on investments, life cover, pensions, education planning, and wealth management solutions

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through ongoing financial planning and support

• Expand your client base across multiple international markets

Business Development

• Proactively grow your own book of business

• Identify new opportunities across emerging and established markets

• Work towards building and managing a team of advisers over time

Collaboration & Market Engagement

• Work closely within a supportive team environment

• Engage with offshore financial products and international investment solutions

• Stay informed on market trends and client needs across regions

Candidate Requirements
Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, law, or a related field

• Financial services qualifications are advantageous but not essential

• 1–2 years’ experience managing a personal client book

• Proven experience as a financial adviser or in a similar role

• Background in offshore financial services and investment products preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Ability to deliver clear, client-focused financial advice

• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team

Important Information
Applicants should have at least three (3) years’ client-facing experience in wealth management or life insurance advisory, along with recognised investment qualifications (such as CISI, CII, or equivalent).
