We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts & Finance Manager to oversee our organisation’s financial health and ensure the effective management of financial resources. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strategic financial planning, maintaining accurate financial records, and leading the finance team. Responsibilities
• Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including ledger management, reconciliations, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
• Implement cost control measures to optimise organisational efficiency and profitability.
• Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering professional development and ensuring high standards of performance.
• Develop financial strategies aligned with organisational goals, including long-term financial planning.
• Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships to ensure liquidity needs are met.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and external audit requirements, maintaining transparency and integrity in all financial activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to support organisational growth initiatives through sound financial advice.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial services, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Proficiency in financial planning, analysis, and reporting tools.
• Experience managing accounts payable processes and implementing cost control strategies.
• Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and professionalism. This role is ideal for a dedicated finance professional eager to contribute strategically within a dynamic organisation committed to excellence in financial stewardship.
Pay: Up to £90,000.00 per year
