Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and user interfaces using React, Vue, or Angular on the front end
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js, Python/Django, or PHP/Laravel
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect, accessible, and performant interfaces
Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards
Optimise application performance including load times, caching strategies, and database query efficiency
Maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage deployments on AWS or GCP, and handle production incidents
Contribute to technical architecture discussions, sprint planning, and backlog refinement in an agile team
Required Skills and Qualifications
No college degree required — a strong portfolio of shipped projects is the primary requirement
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and at least one major front-end framework (React preferred)
Experience with a back-end language and framework (Node.js, Python, or PHP)
Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic SQL query writing
Understanding of version control with Git, agile workflows, and remote team collaboration tools
Bootcamp graduates, self-taught developers, and career changers with demonstrable project experience are welcome
