Advertising Sales Executive (Home Based) £25,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission Realistic OTE £40,000 to £60,000+

We are looking for an experienced Advertising Sales Executive to join our growing team on a home based basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to represent established and respected media brands that have been serving the rural sector for more than 23 years. With a highly engaged audience, a substantial industry database and a combined social media following of more than 600,000 people, you will be selling proven advertising solutions to businesses looking to reach farmers, rural enterprises, agricultural suppliers and countryside professionals across the UK.

Ideal for a motivated and ambitious sales professional with a proven track record in advertising sales, this role offers the flexibility of working from home together with excellent earning potential through a generous uncapped commission structure.

Initially offered on a six month contract with a review period, the position has the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

The role

You will be responsible for selling advertising opportunities across our established print, digital, email and social media platforms. Working independently from home, you will build relationships with both existing and prospective clients, identify opportunities and generate advertising revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through proactive telephone and email sales activity.

• Build and maintain long term relationships with advertisers and industry suppliers.

• Manage and develop existing accounts while identifying new revenue opportunities.

• Present advertising and marketing solutions tailored to individual client needs.

• Follow up enquiries and leads in a professional and timely manner.

• Maintain accurate records and pipeline activity using CRM software.

• Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.

• Work closely with the management team on sales strategy and business development.

What we’re looking for

• Proven advertising sales experience is essential.

• A successful track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

• Strong B2B sales skills and confidence speaking with business owners, directors and senior decision makers.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.

• Self motivated and capable of working independently from home.

• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems would be advantageous.

• Professional, organised and results driven.

• £25,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission.
