Financial Advisor – Switzerland

About the Company
Our client is a growing financial services organisation based in Switzerland, focused on delivering high-quality financial planning solutions to international professionals. Their offering spans everything from Swiss pension system optimisation to complex international pension transfers.

With a team of FINMA and ARIF registered advisers, they service clients across Switzerland through a highly efficient digital model, supported by a Nyon-based operations team and a sophisticated online client portal.
Responsibilities

• Meet with clients via MS Teams, telephone, and occasional face-to-face meetings to assess financial situations

• Introduce the company’s proposition and guide clients through the financial planning process

• Gather detailed client information including investments, savings, tax efficiency, real estate, and risk tolerance

• Develop tailored financial plans covering tax optimisation, real estate goals, education funding, and retirement planning

• Prepare financial planning reports using in-house templates to ensure suitability and compliance

• Liaise with clients and administration teams to execute product applications and investment instructions

• Conduct regular client reviews and adjust financial strategies where required

• Maintain up-to-date market and regulatory knowledge through ongoing professional development

• Accurately manage and update the internal CRM system, ensuring high standards of data integrity

Requirements

• FINMA and ARIF registered advisor (essential)

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial services, including international exposure

• Experience working in a client-facing financial planning or advisory role

• Strong understanding of financial planning concepts and offshore/international structures

• Fluent English (additional languages such as French or German are advantageous)

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client workflows

• High attention to detail and adherence to structured processes

• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems

Ideal Candidate

• Aged between 33 to 45 years old

• Already living and working in Switzerland with at least one year at a competitor firm

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial services

• Holds relevant financial services qualifications

• Committed to building a long-term career in Switzerland

• Understands the long-term nature of success in financial planning (2–3 year progression)

Benefits

• Basic salary of CHF 6,000 per month

• Performance-related annual bonus

• OTE Year 1: CHF 84,000

Please note: This role requires FINMA and ARIF registration and experience operating within the Swiss wealth management regulatory environment. Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in client-facing investment advisory or wealth management roles. The position is client-facing and performance-driven, with a strong focus on relationship development and achieving targets. Backgrounds primarily focused on accounting, auditing, or internal financial management are unlikely to be suitable.
