Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive responsible for closing high-ticket marketing retainers with eCommerce and DTC brands. Deal sizes typically range from $4,000 to $25,000+ per month for paid media management and creative strategy services. This role focuses on converting qualified inbound opportunities and high-value prospects into revenue. The ideal candidate is confident selling to founders and marketing leaders and understands the economic drivers behind eCommerce growth (CAC, ROAS, creative testing, and paid acquisition scaling). You will conduct strategy calls, guide prospects through the evaluation process, and drive deals toward signed agreements and onboarding.
Responsibilities
• Conduct discovery and strategy calls with inbound prospects from referrals, content, and paid acquisition
• Evaluate prospect fit based on brand stage, revenue, and paid media maturity
• Lead consultative sales conversations with founders and marketing leaders
• Convert qualified opportunities into $4K–$25K+ monthly retainers
• Drive deals forward through structured discovery and strategic recommendations
• Present service solutions aligned with brand growth goals
• Issue agreements, collect payments, and transition clients into onboarding
• Consistently close high-value retainers with eCommerce brands
• Maintain disciplined follow-up across all open opportunities
• Re-engage stalled deals and revive dormant prospects
• Maintain accurate CRM records and deal tracking
• Ensure consistent pipeline progression and deal velocity
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in a closing sales role (AE, Sales Executive, or similar)
• Demonstrated ability to close high-ticket services or SaaS deals
• Strong consultative selling and discovery skills
• Comfortable speaking with founders and senior marketing leaders
• Strong pipeline management and follow-up discipline
• Excellent verbal communication and objection-handling skills
• Ability to operate independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience selling into eCommerce, DTC, or marketing environments
• Experience selling marketing agency services or paid media solutions
• Familiarity with eCommerce metrics such as ROAS, CAC, LTV, and creative testing
• Experience selling to Shopify or DTC brands
• Prior experience closing $5K+ monthly retainers or high-ticket B2B services
Pay: £89,000.00-£111,000.00 per year
