Role Description
This is a remote volunteer role for a WordPress Designer and Developer. The volunteer will collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance and accessibility. Responsibilities include creating and customizing themes, implementing plugins, optimizing websites for speed and security, troubleshooting issues, and improving user experience. Additionally, the volunteer may assist in updating website content and ensuring compatibility with various devices and browsers.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in WordPress design, development, and customization
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with website performance optimization and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with integrating and configuring plugins
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a remote team setting
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience in UI/UX design and SEO is a plus
