Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence Business Area is seeking an M&A Finance Integration Manager to support pre-close planning and post-close finance integration activities for the Waygate Technologies acquisition. This role will be key to ensuring Day-1 readiness, stabilising finance operations during transition, and enabling a successful long-term integration.
This role is ideal for someone who combines deep finance expertise with a hands-on mindset, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate across people, processes, systems, and geographies in a fast-moving matrix organisation.

Job Responsibilities
As part of the finance integration effort, you will act as a key partner across multiple functions and geographies to support both planning and execution. Main responsibilities include:
• Lead finance integration activities across pre-close and post-close phases, with a strong focus on Day-1 preparedness, close mechanics, controls, opening balance sheet, and reporting.
• Act as the single point of accountability for the Finance integration workstream for Waygate Technologies, ensuring delivery against value, timing, compliance, and governance expectations.
• Act as a finance co-pilot and integration partner to the acquired business during the transition period.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across finance, shared services, legal, IT, compliance, tax, payroll, treasury, and other business functions.
• Design, adapt, and monitor Finance-focused TSA schedules, service delivery, pricing models, and exit roadmaps across areas such as GL, AP/AR, Treasury, Tax, Payroll, and Reporting.
• Support finance operations including reporting, forecasting, long-range planning, performance management, and broader F&A-related activities during the integration journey.
• Partner with Business Area Leadership and business managers to align financial processes with operational needs, drive cost discipline, support margin improvement, and optimise cash performance.
• Establish robust controlling frameworks, KPIs, and executive reporting aligned with Group standards.
• Support ERP, CRM, consolidation tool, and financial systems transition activities, including data migration, opening balance validation, audit readiness, and relevant Day-1 and Day-2 milestones.
• Partner with Tax on direct and indirect tax implications of structure changes, and support statutory close readiness across multiple jurisdictions.
• Help assess future organisational needs and contribute to the setup of finance support structures as integration progresses.
• Support external audits, deal completion accounts, post-close true-ups, synergy tracking, and value capture reporting.
Qualifications
• Accounting qualification required or strongly preferred (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 10+ years of experience in finance, with increasing leadership responsibility in an international, matrix, and decentralised organisation.
• Demonstrated experience as VP Finance, Divisional Finance Director, Senior Finance M&A Integration Lead, or in a comparable senior finance integration role.
• Strong background across controlling, FP&A, audit, accounting, shared services, and broader finance operations.
• Significant hands-on delivery experience across M&A integrations, separations, carve-outs, Day-1 readiness, TSA structuring, and post-merger integration.
• Experience operating in large, complex group structures, ideally at USD 200-500m revenue scale, and understanding how finance supports end-to-end business performance.
• Solid appreciation of business systems and process flows, including ERP, CRM, consolidation tools, data governance, and their interaction across the value chain.
• Professional experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technology-enabled businesses preferred.
• Track record of working with Corporate M&A, external advisors, executive leadership, and multi-jurisdictional operating models.
• Ability to balance strategic coordination with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced environment and under tight timelines.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English language skills required.
• Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 15-20%.
