International Council for Education, Research and Training (ICERT) is a globally recognized network powered by higher education faculty, research scholars, and extensive school communities. While our academic framework is highly advanced and we have a massive infrastructure ready to implement global programs, we are looking to bridge the gap between our international network and the United States philanthropic ecosystem.
We are seeking a skilled, US-based Grant Research & Proposal Writing Volunteer who possesses deep, localized insight into US funding agencies, family foundations, corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, and high-net-worth individual donors.
Our ultimate institutional goal is twofold: to position ICERT to successfully secure US institutional funding, and to establish the baseline frameworks required to evolve our council’s capacity toward community-facing grantmaking.
Key Responsibilities:
• US Funder Recommendation & Vetting: Guide our leadership team by identifying and recommending US foundations, family trusts, and corporate funders whose strict eligibility criteria match our inclusive education and scientific research initiatives.
• Proposal Customization: Review our existing academic frameworks and translate them into highly persuasive, compelling grant proposals tailored specifically to the structural expectations of US grant reviewers and individual donors.
• Strategic Alignment: Advise our international executive committee on how to align our operational reporting to match compliance metrics expected by major US funding agencies.
Time Commitment: Flexible. We anticipate approximately 3–5 hours per week for a duration of 6 to 8 weeks. All communication will be virtual via Zoom, email, and shared workspace drives.
