About The Role

The role drives the operational and administrative efficiency of non-clinical healthcare services, ensuring strict compliance with state and federal regulations including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines. This position acts as the operational bridge between clinical staff, compliance officers, and administrative departments within a modern, digital-first healthcare delivery environment.

This role is critical for scaling clinical operations, optimizing billing workflows, and managing vendor relationships to minimize risk and improve patient satisfaction. The administrator will direct daily administrative pipelines, coordinate electronic health record (EHR) configurations, and lead audits of compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily administrative operations, scheduling protocols, and patient processing workflows to optimize throughput and clinical resource utilization
• Oversee healthcare compliance programs, ensuring all operational workflows adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and state-specific regulatory standards
• Coordinate with billing, coding, and finance teams to streamline claims processing, resolve denials, and audit coding accuracy (ICD-10, CPT)
• Administer Electronic Health Record (EHR) configurations, permissions, and optimization cycles to improve data integrity and clinical documentation
• Negotiate and manage external vendor contracts, service-level agreements, and supply chains for administrative software and clinic operations
• Analyze operational data and generate monthly performance metrics for executive leadership, focusing on revenue cycle health and operational bottlenecks

What We Are Looking For

• 4-7 years of experience in healthcare administration, clinic management, or health system operations
• Deep working knowledge of US healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance, MACRA/MIPS, and billing/coding regulations
• Hands-on proficiency with major EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth) and healthcare billing systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships, contract negotiation, and operational budgets
• Bonus: Master of Health Administration (MHA) or MBA; Certified Medical Practice Manager (CMPM) or Certified Healthcare Administrative Professional (cHAP) credential
