They are seeking a creative and passionate urban planner/designer to join their team, focusing on research, analysis, visual renderings, and community engagement for various urban planning projects.
Responsibilities
• Research and analysis
• Writing reports and plans

Skills
• Exceptional urban design and visualization abilities
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Effective verbal communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively in teams
• Graduate degree in urban planning, urban design, or closely related field or commensurate experience
• Some prior planning-related work experience
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator
• Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel occasionally
• Successful candidate will need to be based in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area and work part of the week in office
• Expertise in InDesign and GIS desirable
• Exposure to California planning practice
• Geographic familiarity with the state
• Background/interest in land use planning and/or environmental planning, sustainability and climate resiliency
