Job Overview
We are a financial management company operating in the real estate sector, working across a portfolio of property investment and development companies. We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) for a dual-focused role spanning day-to-day financial management and reporting and investment-led financial appraisal and modelling.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant who wants flexible, home-based working while staying close to high-quality, technically demanding real estate finance work. This will cover both the numbers that keep the business running and the analysis that shapes investment decisions.
Financial Management & Reporting
• Preparing management accounts across the portfolio of companies
• Day-to-day general financial management, including oversight of cash position, accruals, and routine reporting
• Liaising with bookkeepers/external accountants and ensuring accurate, timely financial records
• Supporting statutory reporting, compliance, and audit processes as required
Investment Appraisal & Modelling
• Preparing and reviewing financial appraisals for property acquisitions and developments
• Building and maintaining investment decks and supporting materials for stakeholders and funders
• Producing and updating portfolio cashflow forecasts across multiple entities
• Supporting financial modelling for refinancing, asset management, and investment decisions
• Maintaining accurate, well-structured financial models and working papers
Qualifications
• ACCA or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
• Proven experience preparing management accounts and managing general financial operations, ideally for multiple entities/SPVs
• Proven experience in financial appraisals and investment analysis, ideally within real estate or property finance
• Strong track record of building cashflow forecasts across a portfolio of assets or entities
• Advanced Excel skills — comfortable with complex modelling, sensitivity analysis, and large datasets
• Experience preparing materials for investors, lenders, or senior stakeholders (investment decks/IC papers)
• Comfortable moving between routine financial management and higher-level investment analysis
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote role
• Able to travel to London on an occasional basis for meeting
