Summary
Pinnacle Group is seeking a Director of Accounts Receivable to lead high-volume AR and order-to-cash operations across a globally distributed team. This role will balance daily operational leadership with major automation, systems enhancement, and process transformation initiatives across financial operations. The ideal candidate brings strong AR leadership, US GAAP knowledge, advanced analytics capabilities, and the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
Job Description
• Lead end-to-end accounts receivable and order-to-cash operations in a high-volume financial operations environment.
• Manage global AR teams across regions, including offshore and nearshore team members.
• Drive automation, system enhancements, and process transformation initiatives across AR operations.
• Establish, monitor, and improve KPIs, SLAs, cash application, collections, billing, and reporting performance.
• Partner with finance, accounting, client teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve escalations and improve outcomes.
• Ensure AR processes align with US GAAP, accrual accounting principles, internal controls, and financial accountability standards.
• Use Excel, reporting tools, and data analytics to identify trends, risks, root causes, and operational improvement opportunities.
• Support financial operations transformation efforts, including Workday Financials optimization where applicable.
• Lead difficult stakeholder conversations with professionalism, clarity, and sound business judgment.
Requirements
• 10+ years of progressive accounts receivable or order-to-cash experience, including 5+ years in AR leadership roles within high-volume environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, US GAAP principles, accrual accounting, internal controls, and financial accountability standards.
• Demonstrated success leading AR automation, systems enhancement, and process improvement initiatives.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong data analytics capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage complex conversations across clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead cross-cultural, globally distributed teams, including teams based outside the U.S.
• MSP, staffing industry, Workday Financials, and supplier payments experience strongly preferred.

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
