Lincoln has an opening for a Relationship Manager who is passionate about helping plan sponsors and financial professionals deliver the best retirement plan experience possible. As a Relationship Manager, you will lead an experienced and dynamic service team, and serve as the single point of accountability for our clients in the East region. With an entrepreneurial approach to managing your assigned clients, you’ll form new relationships, ensure appropriate price and service offering, and strategize on plan optimization, all with a focus on client satisfaction and retention.

What you’ll be doing:
• Serving as a strategic partner to our retirement plan clients
• Leading a robust and experienced internal service team
• Capitalizing on your industry knowledge to provide thoughtful and proactive plan reviews, education strategies, and guidance on plan design
• Using your organizational and leadership skills to navigate through successful issue resolution
• Strategically presenting new products and services, as appropriate

What we’re looking for Must haves:
• 5+ years of experience in the Retirement Industry in a client facing role
• Proven strong relationship management skills, ability to build rapport quickly, and proactive management of plan goals
• Strong working knowledge of ERISA and IRS rules and regulations and how they impact retirement plans
• FINRA S6 & S63- required within 90 days of hire
• Life & Health license- required within 120 days of hire
• Ability to travel to clients approximately 30% of time

Nice-to-haves:
• Experience with retention of Retirement Plan clients in Large market
• Governmental plan experience

The pay range for this position is $100,000 – $250,000 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
