Responsibilities
• Develop original design concepts for women’s contemporary apparel, aligning with seasonal trends and brand identity
• Stay informed about fashion retail trends, competitor offerings, and emerging styles to keep collections fresh and relevant
Requirements
• Proven experience in fashion design with a focus on women’s contemporary apparel
• Proficiency in sketching
• Strong understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques, and sewing machine operation
• Knowledge of patternmaking
• Familiarity with fashion styling, merchandising principles, and color theory fundamentals
• Experience with fabric selection, pattern making, and fitting processes
• Effective communicator
