Job Title: Junior Credit Controller and Finance Administrator
Time frame: Initial 3 month temporary position with review
Salary: Up to £30k on basis of experience
Terms of work: Part time (minimum 20 hours a week) or full time
Location: Home Based (UK only)
Tasks
• Proactively collect outstanding invoices and ensure payments are received within agreed terms.
• Reconcile and resolve old debtor accounts with historical balances
• Manage aged debt and follow up overdue accounts via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
• Provide regular reporting and updates on debtor balance reconciliations
• Obtain Customer contact details and update relevant systems to ensure that future comms are distributed by e-mail.
• Work closely with Finance Manager to resolve old overdue debt and to establish more efficient and effective processes for daily tasks in the finance department
• Any other finance administration tasks to assist the Finance Manager
Requirements
• Candidates should have at least a year of experience in credit control or accounts receivable
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive approach to debt collection and account management
• Strong organisational skills
