About This Position
IPX Power is seeking a qualified Marketing and Communications lead to develop and manage the company’s marketing efforts, public messaging, social media and internal communications. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Administrative Officer and oversee how our company is presented in the renewable energy market, the communities in which our solar and battery projects operate, and all internal and external communications. This individual will tell the IPX Power story, translating complex technical details into simple, compelling narratives used across projects, digital channels, internal communications, board presentations and more. This role blends both strategic planning and hands-on creative execution.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and execute comprehensive, integrated programs and communications that support our business goals in the renewable energy market.
• Write, edit, and oversee the production of marketing content, including case studies, press releases, and telling our story.
• Ensure all internal and external communications carry a uniform brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all channels.
• Manage the company’s social media strategy, oversee website updates, handle crisis communications and plans as needed
• Build relationships with journalists, pitch stories, and manage media outreach to maximize positive company visibility.
• Lead internal communications, company events and other internal initiatives to support the organization’s culture and how we work together.
• Craft succinct updates, launch briefs, and talking points that keep internal teams aligned on strategy, priorities, and business changes
• Track and measure the performance of campaigns and communication strategies, adjusting tactics based on data insights.
• Manage external agencies, designers, writers, and other creative vendors as needed to achieve program goals.
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing and communications within a faced paced environment
• Candidates with renewable energy experience will be prioritized
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate ideas into outcomes
• Experience with relevant social media, renewable energy industry organizations and journalists
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
• Adaptable and capable of problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
