Social Media Marketing Manager / Digital Marketing Specialist – Healthcare & Precision Oncology

Datar Cancer Genetics is looking for a highly capable and independent Social Media Marketing professional to take end-to-end ownership of the organization’s social media presence across international markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, GCC, South Africa, India, and Australia / NZ.
This is not a routine posting or platform-handling role. We are looking for a mature professional who can combine content thinking, healthcare communication sensitivity, scientific accuracy, brand understanding, campaign planning, analytics, paid promotion, and creative coordination to build a strong, responsible, and credible digital presence for a precision oncology and molecular diagnostics organization.
The selected candidate will work closely with leadership, internal scientific and business teams, and graphic designers to plan, create, publish, monitor, and improve social media communication across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, and other relevant digital platforms.

Role Objective
We are looking for a professional who can independently manage the complete social media function, including strategy, content planning, copywriting, publishing, performance tracking, paid campaigns, creative briefing, and continuous improvement.
The candidate should be able to convert complex healthcare, biotechnology, oncology, and diagnostics-related topics into clear, accurate, ethical, and engaging social media communication without exaggeration, overstatement, or unsupported claims.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• End-to-end management of all organizational social media platforms.
• Developing social media strategy, monthly content calendars, campaign plans, and platform-wise execution schedules.
• Writing professional captions, post content, campaign copy, awareness content, event posts, product-related communication, recruitment posts, leadership posts, and scientific/healthcare communication.
• Creating content ideas for posts, carousels, reels, short videos, infographics, awareness campaigns, event campaigns, recruitment campaigns, product education posts, and brand-building campaigns.
• Coordinating closely with graphic designers by providing clear creative briefs, image references, content hierarchy, layout suggestions, visual concepts, campaign themes, and platform-specific design requirements.
• Scheduling and publishing content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
• Monitoring engagement, comments, trends, audience response, competitor activity, and campaign performance.
• Preparing monthly analytics and performance reports for leadership, including actionable recommendations.
• Managing and optimizing paid social media campaigns.
• Supporting employer branding, corporate communication, product awareness, event communication, and leadership visibility.
• Maintaining brand tone, communication discipline, scientific accuracy, and message consistency.
• Ensuring that all healthcare-related communication remains responsible, ethical, professional, and compliant with internal review expectations.
• Understanding the competitive landscape and the social media strategies of relevant healthcare, diagnostics, biotechnology, oncology, and life sciences organizations.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate should have:
• Strong written English and professional content writing skills.
• Demonstrated experience in managing social media across multiple platforms.
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn marketing, corporate brand communication, and professional audience engagement.
• Experience with paid social media campaigns, audience targeting, and performance tracking.
• Ability to understand healthcare, biotechnology, diagnostics, oncology, life sciences, or scientific content.
• Ability to convert technical and scientific topics into clear, responsible, and engaging digital communication.
• Strong coordination skills with graphic designers, leadership, and internal teams.
• Working knowledge of social media analytics tools, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn analytics, Google Analytics, campaign dashboards, or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of SEO, hashtags, audience targeting, content discoverability, and digital brand building.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, manage deadlines, and handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
