Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PST. Candidates should be available to support business operations and project needs during PST business hours.

Job Description:
We are seeking an Associate Instructional Design/eLearning Developer with experience in instructional design, curriculum development, eLearning creation, and web-based training solutions. This role focuses on designing and developing engaging learning experiences that support end-user success and organizational training initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience creating interactive eLearning courses, curriculum materials, web-based training modules, multimedia learning content, and instructional resources. The candidate should understand adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and best practices for creating effective and engaging learning solutions.
This position combines instructional design expertise with Epic application knowledge. The successful candidate will support the development and enhancement of training programs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure learning materials align with business needs and user workflows.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop curriculum, eLearning courses, and web-based training modules
• Create engaging, interactive, and scenario-based learning experiences
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to improve learner outcomes
• Develop training materials including job aids, exercises, assessments, and knowledge checks
• Create multimedia learning content using digital media, web authoring tools, and eLearning technologies
• Develop clear learning objectives and align content with desired training outcomes
• Review and test completed courses for accuracy, functionality, quality, timing, and learner experience
• Gather feedback and enhance course content, structure, and delivery methods
• Collaborate with Epic analysts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to identify training needs
• Update training documentation and curriculum based on system enhancements and workflow changes
• Maintain knowledge of assigned Epic modules and related workflows
• Support training environment maintenance and testing activities
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality expectations
Required Skills & Experience
• Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and eLearning development
• Experience creating web-based training programs and interactive learning content
• Experience with eLearning authoring tools, multimedia tools, and learning management systems
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design practices
• Experience developing and delivering web-based courses
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Epic certification in Grand Central/Prelude (Associate) required
Preferred Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of relevant Epic experience
• Experience working with Epic workflows and healthcare training environments
• Experience supporting instructional education, training, or customer-focused initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree Required
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a combination of Instructional Design/eLearning development experience and Epic Grand Central/Prelude knowledge. Candidates with experience building curriculum, creating digital learning solutions, and developing role-based training content will be strongly considered.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $65.00 – $72.00 per hour
