About the Project
QUASAR is seeking an Executive Producer to join a feature-length documentary. We are looking for an individual who can either invest capital directly into the project, raise financing through their network, or lead the film’s capital formation strategy while serving as a strategic partner throughout production and distribution.
Over the past year, our team has documented an ongoing story with national significance.
The story has already attracted significant public attention and extensive media coverage. Hours of footage have already been captured.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an Executive Producer who can provide value through one or more of the following:
• Invest capital into the documentary
• Introduce private investors or family offices who invest in films
• Raise financing through entertainment, philanthropic, or institutional networks
• Secure grants or sponsorships where appropriate
• Assist with distribution introductions
• Help position the film for festivals and streaming platforms
• Provide strategic guidance throughout production and release
• Serve as a long-term producing partner
This role is ideal for an experienced producer, investor, philanthropist, entertainment executive, family office, or individual passionate about socially impactful storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications
We welcome candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
• Documentary production
• Film finance
• Private equity or venture investing
• Family office investing
• Entertainment financing
• Media production
• Philanthropic funding
• Distribution and streaming partnerships
• Film festival strategy
Previous Executive Producer credits are preferred but not required.
More important than prior credits is the ability to help finance and strategically advance the project.
Investment & Compensation
This is an equity participation opportunity.
The Executive Producer will receive:
• Executive Producer credit
• Equity ownership in the documentary
• Participation in future project revenues
• Recognition across film marketing and promotional materials
• Participation in distribution negotiations where appropriate
Revenue opportunities may include:
• Streaming platform licensing
• Domestic and international distribution
• Broadcast rights
• Educational licensing
• Transactional Video on Demand (TVOD)
• Airline and institutional licensing
• Ancillary media opportunities
• Awards and qualifying grants
Investment structures and equity participation will be negotiated based on the level of capital invested, financing secured, strategic involvement, and overall contribution to the project.
