About the Opportunity:
We are partnering with a global SaaS organization to identify an experienced Senior Accountant Consultant for a long-term engagement. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with a strong foundation in public accounting and large public company environments who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. The consultant will support key accounting operations, contribute to an efficient month-end close process, and help ensure accurate financial reporting.
Duration: 7+ months
Location: Remote (PST business hours)
Compensation: $55–$68/hour

Scope:
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Prepare and review payroll-related accruals to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts while assisting with ongoing accounting operations.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
• Assist with financial reporting deliverables and support compliance with internal accounting policies.
• Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Expertise:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Prior experience with a Big Four or national public accounting firm.
• Experience supporting a large public company environment.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Hands-on experience preparing and analyzing payroll accruals.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment while collaborating across teams.
