Job Description:
• Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of EpicCare Ambulatory
• Design, build, test, and maintain Epic system components to streamline clinical workflows
• Partner with clinicians and stakeholders to analyze business needs and create innovative solutions
• Configure workflows, documentation tools, Smart Tools, OTX, Health Maintenance, Registries, and more
• Provide technical expertise, training, and ongoing support for end users
• Collaborate on projects, system enhancements, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and patient safety
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of progressive healthcare experience
• Hands-on Epic build experience with EpicCare Ambulatory or OTX (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with clinical workflows in outpatient settings and EMR system implementations
• Experience working in hospital or major medical center IT deployments is a plus
• Knowledge of billing, scheduling, access services, and health maintenance workflows
• EpicCare Ambulatory Certification (required)
