We’re looking for a seasoned Sound Designer to join our team for a gripping psychological drama, with elements of a slow-burn thriller. Think atmospheric, nuanced soundscapes that really build tension and draw the audience in. We need someone who can craft an immersive auditory experience, shaping the emotional arc of the film through expert sound design, Foley, and mixing elements. You’ll be responsible for the entire post-production sound journey, from initial spotting sessions to final mix delivery. This includes developing the sonic world, sourcing sound effects, recording and editing Foley, and collaborating closely with the director and picture editor. We’re seeking a senior-level professional with a strong portfolio showcasing previous feature film work in similar genres. You should have your own high-quality gear and software setup for independent work, and a stellar reel is a must. This is a paid position, offering $2000-3000 per week, depending on experience. The work is mostly remote, but we’re looking for someone based in the Los Angeles area for occasional in-person meetings if needed. Project duration is approximately 8-10 weeks, with flexible hours.
