Type of Hire: Direct Hire; Remote

Salary: $70,340/yr (exempt)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Summary:

Works under the general direction of the Trade Promotions Manager and assigned Regional Sales Managers (RSMs). Responsible for administrative activities related to the support of the assigned company Regional Sales Managers. Works closely with all members of the Sales department team to support RSM sales planning and Maruchan company goals. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to update and maintain promotional planners, contracts and Trade Promotions software entries, collect and coordinate information between RSMs and brokers, review plans for accuracy, participate in meetings with RMSs and Brokers. Will perform administrative activities and facilitate accuracy and problem resolution by maintaining communication and serving as a liaison to RSMs and their brokers and other support staff.

Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and execute marketing and sales programs
• Maintains planners, financials and contracts so that they are accurate and timely. Reviews all submitted plans, participates in planner review with RSM. Alerts appropriate parties such as RSM or BM when inaccuracies are detected and either correct or facilitates corrections as per procedure
• Advises RSM when planners have been verified and ready to be approved (First review)
• Has authority to approve Planners with date change and or admin change only
• Updates planners
• Updates various reports to provide to the RSMs
• May alter a committed plan or enter an end date of plan to facilitate broker’s corrections, or in certain cases may submit the plan instead of other parties
• Participates in quarterly internal audits with brokers to compare items in Trade Pro against the planner and the contract
• Assists TMP team in resolving deductions that require special attention. Works with BAAs to research and resolve
• May travel for business visits with brokers, RSMs
• Support all company initiatives, share best practices and serve as advocate and information source for the company

Qualifications and Requirements
• 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity in a food broker, food distribution, grocery or CPG environment
• Experienced with Trade Promotions Planning

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Excellent Communication Skills written and oral
• Professional demeanor on phone and in person
• Able to teach and communicate effectively with brokers, Regional Sales managers, and all levels of the company across department as needed
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
• Must be well organized and able to multitask
• Time Management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power point)

Education:

High school diploma required

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent highly preferred

Physical Demands:

Those usually associated with an office environment

Available to travel up to 20%.

Pay: $69,000.00 – $70,340.00 per year
