SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have):

✔️ Camunda BPM Platform: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on expertise with Camunda 7/8, including Process Designer, BPMN 2.0 processes, DMN (Decision Model and Notation), data/form models, and task reusable modules.

✔️ Java/JEE Ecosystem: 5+ years of strong experience in Java (1.6+) and J2EE/Java EE, including Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring MVC.

✔️ Enterprise Integration & APIs: Deep expertise in developing and exposing web services (SOAP and REST APIs) and integrating workflows with Identity Management systems (LDAP/Active Directory).

✔️ Data & Messaging Layers: Proficiency with Hibernate, JPA, JMS, Maven, and relational/non-relational databases.

✔️ Architecture & Design: Proven background in translating complex business workflows into high-level and low-level technical design documents using OOAD and BPMN concepts.

Secondary (Good to Have):

✔️ Cloud & Microservices: Practical experience deploying, configuring, and optimizing Camunda server instances within Cloud Kubernetes environments.

✔️ UI Development: Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks, preferably ReactJS or AngularJS, alongside Expression Language and Form.io.

✔️ Agile Methodology: Experience collaborating within structured Agile development lifecycles.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Camunda Developer with 7 to 10 years of robust IT experience to drive enterprise workflow automation. In this fully remote capacity, you will serve as a technical authority on Camunda capabilities (specifically Camunda Version 8), designing and implementing complex business process models that optimize organizational efficiency. The selected candidate must successfully pass full background verification (BGV) clearance prior to onboarding.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

✔️ Architect, design, test, and deploy end-to-end business process models and workflows using Camunda Version 8, ensuring high performance and scalability.

✔️ Develop, optimize, and maintain custom Java applications, Spring Boot microservices, and reusable modules supporting automated workflows.

✔️ Lead technical integration efforts between Camunda engines and foundational enterprise systems while ensuring absolute data consistency and secure access controls.

✔️ Establish code quality standards by authoring detailed high-level/low-level design documentation and conducting rigorous peer code reviews.

✔️ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members, advising on workflow automation best practices and the latest platform enhancements.
