We are looking for a motivated, sales-oriented Digital Innovation – Account Executive to help grow Margaret, Hudson Ferris’ first-of-its-kind subscription-based fundraising consulting platform. This role will focus on selling Margaret subscriptions, leading prospective client demos, managing the sales process from first conversation through purchase, and maintaining accurate pipeline tracking and KPI reporting. This person will also play a key role in supporting and prioritizing Hudson Ferris’s new partnership with Neon One by helping identify, cultivate, and convert aligned prospects. About the Candidate We seek an ambitious, enterprising, and highly organized candidate who is excited by the opportunity to help grow a new line of business within a mission-driven consulting firm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with sales conversations, product demos, follow-up, relationship management, and pipeline tracking. This person should be able to communicate the value of Margaret clearly to nonprofits who need practical fundraising support but may not be able to afford a traditional consulting engagement. The strongest candidates will be proactive, persistent, and comfortable taking ownership of a sales pipeline. They should be able to move quickly, follow up consistently, track details accurately, and represent Hudson Ferris in a warm, polished, and consultative manner. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Selling Margaret subscriptions to nonprofit organizations, partner referrals, and other qualified prospects. Leading introductory calls and product demos for prospective Margaret customers. Clearly communicating Margaret’s value proposition, subscription model, service structure, and practical use cases. Managing prospective customers through the full sales process, from initial outreach and discovery through proposal, purchase, onboarding handoff, and follow-up. Tracking all prospective sales activity, including leads, demos, follow-ups, next steps, close probability, purchase status, and reason for loss when applicable. Maintaining accurate sales pipeline records and KPI reporting, and monitoring progress toward sales goals, demo targets, partner pipeline goals, and revenue KPIs. Prioritizing Hudson Ferris’s partnership with Neon One by supporting partner-referred prospects, moving Neon-sourced leads through the sales process, and ensuring timely follow-up. Working closely with the Director of Digital Innovation and Strategy and other Hudson Ferris team members to refine sales messaging, demo flow, follow-up materials, and conversion strategy. Identifying common prospect questions, objections, and sales barriers, and helping develop clear responses and supporting materials. Staying abreast of nonprofit fundraising trends, technology trends, digital fundraising tools, and the needs of capacity-constrained nonprofit organizations. Representing Hudson Ferris and Margaret in a warm, professional manner in meetings, demos, partner conversations, and community settings. Core Requirements Sales, business development, account management, fundraising, consulting, or customer-facing experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfort leading virtual demos and sales conversations. Ability to explain a product or service clearly to prospective customers. Strong follow-up habits and comfort managing a pipeline. Proficiency with Zoom and Microsoft Office, including Outlook. Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to track sales activity and KPIs accurately in a CRM, spreadsheet, or project management system. Ability to prioritize multiple prospects, deadlines, and internal requests at once. Personal resilience, professionalism, and a willingness to provide and utilize constructive feedback. Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Preferred Requirements Experience selling subscriptions, services, consulting, software, or fundraising support products. Experience with nonprofit organizations, fundraising teams, or nonprofit technology. Experience with CRM platforms such as Neon, Salesforce, Bloomerang, or similar tools or the nonprofit CRM landscape, as well as generative AI, fundraising technology, prospecting tools, or digital strategy platforms. Experience leading sales demos or customer discovery calls. Experience tracking pipeline stages, sales KPIs, conversion rates, and revenue targets. Experience working with partner, affiliate, or referral-based sales channels. Experience with Monday.com or similar project management software. Ability to understand nonprofit pain points and translate them into practical sales conversations.
