Horseman’s Gravity Latch is a new product designed to make pipe gates easier, safer, and more practical to open, close, and secure.
We are looking to hire a freelance graphic designer to create the official logo for the brand.
This first project is focused on logo design. We will review applications and portfolios, select a designer we feel is the right fit, and pay $1,000 for the completed logo project. If the project goes well, there may be opportunities for additional design work as we continue building the brand.
About the Project
We need a logo that feels practical, strong, trustworthy, and useful. This is a product made for real people solving a real gate problem, so the design should not feel overly corporate, trendy, delicate, or generic.
The logo should work for a product used around farms, ranches, barns, livestock properties, acreage, rural homes, and other places with pipe gates. It should feel clean, memorable, and flexible enough to work across a website, product packaging, printed materials, social media, signage, and future brand collateral.
Responsibilities
• Develop logo concepts for Horseman’s Gravity Latch
• Refine the selected direction based on feedback
• Create a final logo that works across digital and print materials
• Provide final logo files in standard formats for web, print, and branding use
• Conceptualize how the logo will appear on the website, packaging, marketing materials, and product-related assets
Potential future projects
If we like the working relationship and design direction, we may ask the selected designer to help with additional brand and marketing materials, such as website design, packaging, printed materials, social media graphics, product sheets, or other launch-related assets.
Ideal candidate
• Graphic design student, senior, recent graduate, or freelance designer
• Strong eye for logo design, typography, and brand identity
• Able to create work that feels clean, useful, and memorable
• Interested in product design, branding, agriculture, farm/ranch products, outdoor products, or practical consumer goods
• Comfortable working on a real product launch with practical business needs
• Portfolio or samples of design work required
Compensation
This is a fixed-fee project. The selected designer will be paid $1,000 for the completed logo design project.
Additional projects, if offered, would be discussed and agreed on separately.
