Pure Finance Group is seeking a detail-oriented Underwriter to support both underwriting and funding operations. This role evaluates loan applications, assesses credit risk, ensures adherence to credit policies and guidelines, and helps facilitate funding.

Key Responsibilities
· Review loan applications, credit reports, and income documentation
· Assess creditworthiness and issue approvals, conditions, or declines
· Verify loan conditions and support the funding process
· Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all files
· Communicate with dealers and applicants by phone to collect information and move deals forward
· Identify risk factors, inconsistencies, or fraud concerns
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely decisions and funding

Qualifications
· 1+ year of finance underwriting or credit analysis experience
· Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel for data review and analysis
· Understanding of basic credit principles (DTI, income, credit reports)
· Comfortable speaking with applicants and contractors over the phone
· High attention to detail and ability to manage applications in a fast-paced environment

· Experience in consumer finance, fintech, or home improvement lending
Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
