THE FIRM
Ladd & Co. is a private advisory practice serving entrepreneurs, principals, and multi-generational families across M&A, capital placement, co-investment, international structuring, and the resolution of complex cross-border matters. Clients include ultra-high-net-worth families, single and multi-family offices, private holding companies, and institutional investors.
The firm operates across New York, Palm Beach, George Town, London, Zürich, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Sydney.
THE ROLE
We are selectively appointing Origination Partners in key markets.
Origination Partners are deal originators. They identify client situations early: a founder weighing a sale, a family enterprise raising capital, a principal pursuing an acquisition or co-investment, an office that needs cross-border structuring. They open the relationship and represent the firm at senior level. The firm’s execution team runs everything behind it: structuring, materials, valuation, investor matching, negotiation, due diligence, and close.
This is deal origination and business development at the principal level, backed by full transaction infrastructure and the Ladd & Co. brand.
PROFILE
You have an established network among business owners, family offices, institutional investors, or referral professionals such as private bankers, trust and estate lawyers, and accounting firm partners.
Your background is in investment banking, M&A advisory, corporate finance, capital raising, private equity, private banking, or wealth management. Your previous title may have been Managing Director, Investment Banker, M&A Advisor, Corporate Development Director, Private Banker, Relationship Manager, Wealth Manager, Placement Agent, Business Broker, Head of Business Development, or Family Office Executive.
You are based in or deeply connected to your market, credible at the most senior level, self-directed, and motivated by what you produce.
COMPENSATION
Origination Partners participate directly in the economics of the engagements they originate: a substantial share of advisory fees on closed mandates, structured as a principal arrangement rather than a commission role. Specific terms are discussed with qualified candidates.
