Principal, Forensic, Valuation & Investigations
We are currently partnering with a leading advisory and consulting firm that is looking to add an experienced Principal to its growing Forensic Valuation & Investigations practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in business valuation, forensic accounting, investigations, or litigation support who is looking to step into a highly visible leadership role.
The Opportunity
You’ll lead complex engagements involving business valuations, financial investigations, forensic analyses, and expert witness support. Alongside client delivery, you’ll play an important role in developing client relationships, mentoring junior professionals, and helping grow the practice.
Responsibilities
• Lead forensic valuation and investigations engagements from start to finish.
• Manage multiple client matters while maintaining exceptional quality and service.
• Prepare and review financial analyses, valuation reports, expert reports, and supporting documentation.
• Support legal counsel and clients throughout investigations and litigation matters, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation where required.
• Develop new and existing client relationships through networking and business development.
• Mentor and develop junior professionals across the team.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on complex financial and valuation matters.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in forensic accounting, business valuation, investigations, litigation support, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, and Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
• Previous expert witness experience is advantageous but not essential.
