Job Description

Virtual IP is seeking a motivated Web Developer Intern to gain practical exposure to web development, front-end and back-end technologies, website maintenance, and software development workflows.

This internship is designed for students who are currently enrolled in a college, university, or academic program and are looking to build hands-on experience in web development. The internship is unpaid and may be used for academic or university credit, subject to the requirements of the student’s institution. Virtual IP can provide reasonable documentation required for academic credit approval.

Responsibilities
• Assist with front-end and back-end web development tasks.
• Support website updates, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Help build and improve web pages, layouts, forms, and user interfaces.
• Collaborate with developers and internal teams on web-related projects.
• Learn and apply best practices in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and version control.
• Assist with basic debugging, documentation, and quality assurance testing.
• Gain exposure to real-world development workflows, tools, and project collaboration.

Qualifications
• Must be currently enrolled in a college, university, or academic program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Familiarity with React, Next.js, Node.js, Git, or databases is a plus.
• Strong willingness to learn and take feedback.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Must be based in the United States.

Internship Details
• This is an unpaid educational internship.
• Academic credit may be available, depending on the requirements of the intern’s school or university.
• Part-time and full-time options are available based on academic commitments and program requirements.
• Completion documentation or an internship certificate may be provided upon successful completion.
• This internship does not guarantee future employment with the company.
