Missions
At the start of the role, the mission manager will be in charge of projects related to the regulation of advertising led by the sub-directorate, directly supporting the project director. Their missions will revolve around the following axes:
• Conduct a structured reflection on the transformations of the advertising sector, on the dynamics of different categories of actors, particularly in light of the strong growth of digital, and on the appropriate regulation mechanisms, and propose actions that can accompany these developments,
• Conduct an analysis and proposals concerning the evolutions likely to promote responsible advertising from an environmental and health perspective in liaison with the concerned actors,
• Conduct any useful analysis concerning the economic value chain of advertising, particularly from the perspective of its participation in the financing of media and fair competition conditions between categories of actors, and contribute to proposals, particularly in the context of the work carried out following the General Information Conventions,
• Lead initiatives related to the diffusion of AI within the sector, particularly the animation of the network of its AI ambassadors, promoting best practices for an effective, sovereign, and responsible adoption,
• Participate in working groups within the DGE and inter-ministerially on these themes and be the DGE contact for the communication sector, the market actors, the bodies responsible for advertising regulation and statistics, and other public actors involved (cf. DGE teams of the digital economy service, DGMIC, CGDD, SGPE, etc.),
• Contribute to the preparation of dossiers for interviews of ministers or their cabinets, particularly with professional organizations or heads of enterprises in the sector.
According to the needs of the service, the position may evolve to remain adapted to the projects entrusted to the sub-directorate, particularly in light of the evolution of the national and European context and the priorities of the service.
Profile Sought
The position requires a high level of versatility and autonomy, great intellectual curiosity, relational intelligence, and a pronounced interest in economic current affairs, as well as a real ability to expertise and formulate clear, concise, and substantiated proposals. Furthermore, it will be required:
• Good economic and legal skills,
• A very good knowledge of the issues related to the ecological transition and those of the digital transition,
• A good ability to understand and exchange with companies on their business models and their economic, technological, and legal issues,
• A demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects involving several stakeholders,
• A first professional experience of at least 3 years related to the prerequisites of the position.
Minimum Required Level of Education
• Level Level 7 Master/equivalent diplomas
