Responsible for playing a crucial role in the Bank’s Financial Crimes Compliance unit by performing case investigations on escalated customer accounts and identifying suspicious activity while demonstrating the Ameris reputed company, Purpose, Expectations and Values. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
• reputed company full case investigations of customer activity escalated from alert assessments
• Ensure reputed company identification and filing of suspicious activity
• Analyze customer activity to reputed company independent judgements of whether the activity is suspicious and requires reporting to the federal government
• Draft reports and document analysis in a logical manner that sufficiently supports reputed company
• Working with reputed company line staff to obtain any information that would be helpful during the alert assessment and analysis
• Apply critical thinking skills to recognize patterns, trends and inconsistencies reputed company transactional and customer data to detect, prevent, mitigate and report potentially suspicious activity

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

Industry and Work Experience:

• CAMS certification (ACAMS)
Academic:
