It’s a dry topic. We’re looking for someone who can stand in front of a camera, explain personal finance concepts, and make a viewer feel smarter and entertained (while staying on our client’s brand).
Pinwheel produces finance and fintech video content for our clients. You’d be the face and the voice of it: writing the script, then delivering it with the ease of someone who genuinely knows the material. We handle the rest — editing, animation, and graphics are on us.
What you’d do
– Write and deliver 3–4 videos per month on finance and market topics for our clients.
– Own the script — research it, structure it, and write it in a voice that’s clear, credible, and human.
– Show up on camera with presence: someone viewers trust and want to keep watching.
– Translate genuinely complex finance ideas into something a smart non-expert gets on the first pass.
– Hand off to our editing team, who take it from raw footage to finished, animated, graphics-rich video.
What we’re weighting equally
Three things carry the same weight here:
– On-camera presence — you’re comfortable, natural, and magnetic in front of a lens.
– Delivery — your pacing, tone, and phrasing make dense material land.
– Finance knowledge — you actually understand personal finance concepts, and it shows.
What you bring
– Demonstrable finance fluency — background, coursework, or real work in markets, journalism, or fintech.
– Proven on-camera experience with samples we can watch. This is non-negotiable: no reel, no read.
– Sharp writing chops — you can turn a research rabbit hole into a tight, watchable script.
– Availability to start immediately and hold a steady 3–4 videos-per-month cadence.
Nice to have
– Your own quality kit — solid sound, lighting, and recording gear. Helpful, not required.
– A point of view on finance content and where it’s headed.
