Investigations Specialist

Our client, a leader in the financial technology industry, is looking to hire a Regulatory & Compliance Investigations Specialist. This is a fully remote role that will align to Arizona time zones.

As a Regulatory & Compliance Investigations Specialist, you’ll conduct compliance reviews of historical case notes, account activity, and interaction records of customer complaints to produce clear, factual summaries to support decision-making by Legal and Compliance teams. This is a detail-oriented, investigative role well suited to someone who enjoys digging into complex customer histories and telling a clear story from the data they find!

What You’ll Do
• Conduct compliance reviews of customer complaints related to regulated money movement services, building a complete and accurate research summary of each incident for handoff to the Compliance and/or Legal teams
• Review and interpret the scope of assigned compliance and legal matters, escalating to compliance or legal staff as needed
• Partner with paralegals, attorneys, and cross-functional Finance, Customer Support, & Compliance teams to gather complete information and resolve open questions promptly
• Research and extract documents specifically responsive to legal requests leveraging Salesforce, QuickBase, and other proprietary tools

Required Skills & Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in a compliance, customer dispute resolution, or legal/investigative support role
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce or other CRMs to gather customers records accurately and efficiently
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to review high volumes of case records, identify relevant facts, and synthesize findings into a clear, accurate narrative

Desired Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, consumer financial protection, or money movement services
• Working knowledge or experience using QuickBase or other databases a plus!
• Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or SaaS industries with regulated payments products highly valued!
