SSC is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Accounting & Financial Reporting Specialist to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position with flexible hours. We are looking for someone who is proactive, efficient, analytical, and comfortable using the latest AI tools to improve workflows and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
• Verify student attendance and ensure billing is accurate based on attendance records.
• Review lesson notes and attendance to ensure invoices are complete and compliant.
• Prepare invoices and reconcile billing records.
• Generate weekly and monthly financial and operational reports.
• Prepare financial reports, projections, forecasts, and budget reports for management.
• Analyze data and identify trends to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and assist with bookkeeping tasks.
• Create dashboards and reports using Excel, Google Sheets, and AI-powered tools.
• Utilize AI tools to automate tasks, generate reports, and improve business processes.
• Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure accurate billing and financial reporting.
Qualifications
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and projections.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience with attendance-based billing, education, healthcare, or service organizations is a plus.
