We are seeking an experienced Fractional CFO with a strong background in dental practices to provide financial leadership, strategic guidance, and oversight to our accounting team.
This is not a hands-on bookkeeping or accounting role. We already have a team responsible for day-to-day accounting operations. We are looking for a CFO who can review financial information, identify opportunities and risks, recommend improvements, and guide the team on what should be implemented.
Responsibilities:
• Review financial statements and management reports
• Analyze profitability, cash flow, and key performance indicators
• Identify financial risks and opportunities
• Develop financial strategies and growth recommendations
• Guide the accounting team on reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and KPI tracking
• Lead monthly client meetings to review financial performance, discuss recommendations, and answer questions
• Build trusted relationships with clients and communicate complex financial concepts in a simple, practical way
• Support the presentation and delivery of CFO advisory services to clients
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a CFO or Fractional CFO
• Experience working with dental practices or DSOs
• Strong understanding of dental industry KPIs and practice economics
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills
• Ability to confidently lead monthly financial review meetings
• Ability to identify additional CFO advisory opportunities and communicate the value of strategic financial services
• Experience managing or directing accounting teams
