Fractional CFO / Media Financial Modeling Consultant

Fractional CFO / Media Financial Modeling Consultant (Digital Media & Creator Economy)

Help Build the Financial Foundation of a Next-Generation Media Company

The Lucky Ones is a next-generation digital media company built on the power of human connection through storytelling. Through premium interviews with notable public figures and everyday individuals, we’re creating a scalable media brand distributed across YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Tubi, podcasts, and social platforms.

As we prepare for strategic fundraising and long-term growth, we’re seeking an experienced Fractional CFO, Media FP&A Consultant, Investment Banking Analyst, or Senior Financial Modeling Consultant to develop an investor-grade financial model for our business.

This is not a bookkeeping or budgeting project. We’re looking for a strategic finance professional who understands how digital media companies, creator businesses, streaming platforms, and content brands scale and monetize audiences.

The Project

Build a dynamic, fully editable 5-year financial model that our company will own outright and be able to update as assumptions evolve.

The model should translate audience growth into realistic, defensible revenue projections while providing the financial framework needed for investor presentations, fundraising, strategic planning, and board reporting.

Revenue Streams to Model

The model should project and connect revenue across multiple platforms, including but not limited to:
• YouTube advertising, Premium, Channel Memberships
• Brand sponsorships and integrated content
• Syndication
• Podcast advertising, sponsorships, subscriptions (where applicable)
• Social Media channels
• Website advertising
• Merchandise
• Licensing opportunities
• Future revenue channels with customizable assumptions

Deliverables

The financial model should include:
• Five-year monthly and annual forecasts
• Revenue projections by platform
• Audience growth assumptions
• Subscriber and follower growth models
• View and engagement projections
• CPM, RPM, and monetization assumptions
• Sponsorship revenue forecasting
• Customer acquisition assumptions
• Production costs
• Marketing budgets
• Payroll and headcount planning
• Operating expenses
• EBITDA
• Cash flow projections
• Break-even analysis
• Sensitivity analysis
• Conservative, Base Case, and Aggressive scenarios
• Investor-ready dashboards, charts, and KPIs

The model should be intuitive, well documented, and designed so our internal team can update assumptions without rebuilding formulas or structure.

About The Lucky Ones

The most meaningful stories are not always about the person everyone knows, but about the person they were lucky enough to know.

Through compelling short-form interviews, notable public figures and everyday individuals share warm, personal stories about someone they were lucky to have known, who has passed away.

These authentic, uplifting conversations celebrate lives well lived while reinforcing our shared humanity through love, gratitude, humor, resilience, and remembrance.

People don’t watch because someone died. They watch because someone mattered.

They stay because of the story.

As we expand across YouTube, streaming television, podcasts, and social media, we’re building a media company where authentic storytelling creates a lasting audience connection.
