This role will manage all Investor Accounting and Reporting functions within the Servicing department, partnering closely with Corporate Accounting and Servicing/Asset Management departments.ResponsibilitiesReview daily Servicing transaction reports and resulting cash movements for accuracy and reconciliationReview incoming/outgoing ACH, Wire and Checks for proper application/disbursementPrepare timely and accurate reporting to investors each reporting cycle; including FNMA, GNMA, and Life Insurance CompaniesPrepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations for all custodial bank accountsWork with internal departments to resolve outstanding items in daily transaction and bank reconciliationsBuild relationships with clients and meet their requested deliverablesProvide support for annual auditsAssist in creating, maintaining, and following procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external requirementsAssist preparing and distributing internal monthly, quarterly, and annual reportsOther duties, as assignedSkillsStrong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple competing tasks, including the ability to prioritize and interact with a wide range of stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact at all levels of an organizationSkilled in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong proficiency in MS Excel including reviewing formulas and suggesting correctionsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education or experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizationSkilled in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to multi-task and balance multiple deadlines simultaneouslyAbility to resolve issues in a timely and tactful mannerStrong problem solving skills1+ years of relevant Investor Accounting/Reporting experience preferredCommercial mortgage servicing experience preferredBenefitsMedical and dental plan401k plan including company matchingFirm funded life and disability insuranceCompany OverviewColliers International operates as a global real estate specialist and investment management company.
