The Walt Disney Company is seeking a highly skilled Production Analyst to support their Disney Entertainment Television division. This role involves administering a vendor management system, managing payroll and 1099 processing, and improving processes and workflows for production accounting teams.ResponsibilitiesVendor Management: Administer and maintain the centralized vendor database by reviewing, validating, and processing new vendor requests and vendor updates submitted by production accounting teamsAudit Research: Support a range of audit requests, including guild and participation audits, by gathering and organizing requested documentation and information in a timely mannerDevelopment Payroll: Process weekly payroll for a small number of workers related to overall development deals and stock footage librarians, and prepare monthly bank reconciliations1099 Processing: Partner annually with production accounting teams to validate compensation data before submitting information to entertainment payroll providers, Entertainment Partners (EP) and Cast & Crew, for processingAd Hoc Projects: Research and respond to one-off, time-sensitive requests that require gathering and analyzing specific data for urgent business needsSkillsBachelor’s Degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Economics1-2 years of relevant experienceUnderstanding of production accounting processes and proceduresFamiliarity with EP and Cast & Crew software suites, as well as SAPAbility to manage responsibilities accurately and meet deadlines in a timely mannerDetail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdept at fostering and maintaining collaborative relationshipsDemonstrated process improvement mindsetBenefitsA bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation packageFull range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offeredCompany OverviewThe Walt Disney Company started as a cartoon studio and evolves into sports coverage and television shows.
