This role involves supporting corporate accounting, financial analysis, KPI reporting, and finance process improvement initiatives while working closely with the CFO and Corporate Controller.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and record corporate journal entriesPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain fixed asset and lease accountingAssist with monthly and year-end close activitiesPrepare audit schedules and assist with annual external auditsSupport technical accounting research and implementation as neededPrepare monthly financial variance analysesAssist with KPI reporting and dashboard developmentAnalyze project profitability, gross margin trends, and operating performancePrepare financial analyses to support operational decision-makingSupport ad hoc financial modeling and business analysis for executive leadershipIdentify opportunities to streamline finance processesSupport automation initiatives using AI, Power BI, Power Query, Excel, and other technology toolsImprove reporting efficiency and data accuracyParticipate in ERP optimization and reporting enhancementsSupport acquisition due diligence and integration activitiesAssist with corporate initiatives and cross-functional projectsPerform additional financial analysis and reporting as assigned by the CFOSkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance3-5 years of accounting and/or corporate finance experienceStrong understanding of GAAPAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentCPA or CPA candidateConstruction industry experienceExperience with ERP systems (Vista preferred)Experience with Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or other business intelligence toolsExperience with AI-enabled productivity tools and finance automationExperience supporting audits and financial reportingCompany OverviewBell & Associates, Inc.
