Predica Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced Workday Finance Consultant to support their Workday ERP transformation efforts specifically within Finance. The role involves designing, building, and testing Workday configurations to optimize finance processes, automating invoice generation, and collaborating with finance and IT teams to enhance operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesDesign build and test Workday configurations to optimize in scope Finance process areas across the Procure to Pay and Quote to Cash cyclesAutomate end to end invoice generation and delivery by enabling Workday Document Delivery migrating invoice layouts from BIRT to Doc Layouts and consolidating contract based invoicingCentralize AP invoice intake and deploy Workday OCR for automated ML based invoice field population shifting AP operations from manual data entry to exception managementReplace an RPA based cash application process with a direct BAI2 bank statement integration and configure Workday Auto Application Rules and ML assisted payment matching to automate cash postingBuild and customize Finance reports and dashboards to support operational decision making compliance and financial reportingPartner with functional leads to gather requirements document design decisions and validate solutions through unit system and parallel testingTroubleshoot production issues and provide hyper care support following deployment of re designed configurationsDocument configuration decisions design specifications and configuration workbooks to enable knowledge transfer to internal teamsIdentify and recommend opportunities to leverage delivered Workday functionality in place of manual workarounds or legacy customizationsSkills5–7+ years of hands-on Workday Financials configuration experience, including deep expertise across Procure-to-Pay, Quote-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report processesStrong background in optimizing finance operations through automation, including invoice generation, AP intake using OCR/ML, and cash application via bank integrations and Workday auto-application rulesSolid understanding of the full Workday Financials suite (GL, FDM, AP/AR, Banking, Projects, Expenses)Strong accounting knowledgeAbility to translate business requirements into scalable system solutionsExperience supporting end-to-end Workday transformationsConfiguring business processesBuilding reports/dashboardsWorking cross-functionally with Finance and IT teamsFamiliarity with tools such as Workday Document Delivery, Doc Layouts, BAI2 integrations, and DatabricksWorkday Pro certification in one or more of the following: Contracts to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to ReportFamiliarity with Workday Integration tools EIB Core Connectors for context even if integrations are not the primary scopeWorking knowledge of SOC 2 control requirements as they relate to financial system configurationFamiliarity with Databricks as a data lake platformBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related fieldBenefitsWorksite flexibility RemoteCandidates must reside within the US and be able to perform EST hours remotelyThis is a full-time, contract, remote position through December 2026 with the possibility of extensionCompany OverviewExperienced leaders, architects and consulting experts delivering leading edge business and technology solution.
