Role Description
The Consolidations and Reporting Manager oversees month-end consolidations and reporting activities, partnering with finance and accounting staff to ensure timely reporting with a high degree of accuracy and integrity in the company’s books and records. The role includes:

Researching, interpreting, and applying accounting and reporting concepts and policies
•
Ensuring internal control compliance
•
Leading team meetings and providing training and guidance
•
Reviewing the work of others within the accounting team
•
Identifying and executing continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
•
Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, including public accounting or relevant SEC reporting experience
•
Experience supervising significant areas of accounting or financial reporting
•
Strong understanding of technical accounting concepts under US GAAP
•
Strong understanding of internal controls and financial reporting
•
Desire and ability to lead, mentor and develop staff
•
Advanced knowledge of Excel required
•
Successful track record of independently managing multiple projects with competing priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables
•
Strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills
•
Well-rounded business judgment to recognize and respond to cross-departmental needs
•
Demonstrates accountability to personal work product
Requirements
•
Manages the consolidations and reporting activities of the department
•
Partners cross-functionally with corporate accounting, financial systems, revenue, tax, and FP&A teams
•
Manages month-end close and quarterly and annual reporting processes
•
Assists with auditor inquiries and requests
•
Assists with recruiting efforts
•
Leads and develops consolidations and reporting team members
•
Communicates effectively and builds strong relationships throughout the organization
•
Proactively initiates business process improvements
•
Assists with special projects
•
Follows all CDK Global policies and procedures
•
Completes all mandatory assigned compliance tasks and acknowledgements
•
Meets or exceeds all performance expectations
•
Hires and trains new employees
•
Organizes workflow and ensures that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
•
