The Role

While this position is posted with global flexibility, applicants must be able to work between midnight and 4am UK time. You’ll work 100% remotely from home, enjoying the flexibility of 100% remote work!
A bit about the role:
Please note: This role is part-time. 4 hours a day, 7 days a week, week-by-week contract.
An opportunity exists for an entry-level professional to join a high-volume, process-driven community support environment. This role is ideally suited to someone who thrives in structured workflows, values consistency, and takes pride in executing tasks accurately and efficiently.
As a Tier 1 Forum & Support team member, you will support the day-to-day operation of both the Community and Support departments. Acting as the first point of contact, you will manage high-volume, process-led tasks to ensure content is well maintained, support queries are addressed promptly, and workflows remain efficient.
What you’ll do
Review and action thread/post moderation queues, approving or removing posts and threads in line with community guidelines
Handle Tier 1 user reports, resolving straightforward cases and escalating where required
Identify and remove spam across the forum using moderation tools and manual review
Ensure correct forum structure by moving or reorganizing threads into appropriate sections
Enforce marketplace rules by identifying and actioning unauthorized selling activity
Once community knowledge transfer has been established then there is an opportunity to assist within support: Maintain a clean and organized support desk by removing spam and low-quality submissions
Respond to Tier 1 support tickets using established processes and templates.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Entry-level experience or strong interest in customer support, administration, or online communities
Clear and professional written English communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
Ability to manage high-volume, repeatable tasks with consistency
Structured problem-solving within defined guidelines and processes
Team-oriented with the ability to follow direction and apply feedback effectively
Desirable
Familiarity with Freshdesk or similar ticketing systems
Experience with forum platforms such as XenForo
Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word
Exposure to online community moderation or digital platforms
Personal Qualities
Comfortable working within defined workflows and clear guidelines
Reliable and detail-oriented, maintaining organized systems and outputs
Responsive to direction, with the ability to implement feedback quickly
Focused on execution, with a strong sense of ownership over routine tasks
