Dogs for Autism is seeking a trustee with financial experience to join our Board and help support the charity’s future growth and sustainability.
We are looking for someone who can bring financial insight and good judgement to Board discussions.
What difference will you make?
A Trustee in this role will have immediate value as they will quickly see the potential to improve the systems in use to provide information and insight, identify trends and support good decision making.
What are we looking for?
We would welcome applications from individuals with experience in
• Finance, accounting, banking, business management or a related field.
• Budgeting, financial planning or financial oversight.
• Analysing information and providing balanced advice.
• Working collaboratively as part of a team.
As a charity working to support people with Autism, we would welcome applications from individuals who have an appreciation for the work of the charity, some understanding of neurodiversity and/or disabilities in general.

What will you be doing?

We currently work with external accountants to manage our accounts and provide essential reporting but we would really value the support and insight of an experienced individual with finance experience to help us bring together the reporting to help us inform current and future decision making in more joined up way.
Previous charity or trustee experience is beneficial but not essential as full support and training will be provided.
